Tuesday, March 18, Incident Report - Microsoft Windows Issue

At approximately 4:15 PM CST, a single cloud structure at the Omaha 1 datacenter developed an internal network interruption. PowerDNN's internal alerts were triggered and the infrastructure team began an immediate response. It was quickly determined that the issue was likely located at the root OS/virtualization layer.
During the remediation of this incident, PowerDNN was continually in contact with Microsoft Corporation. It has been confirmed by Microsoft that this has become a known issue impacting other enterprise customers/platforms and is likely related to network cards at the virtualization abstraction layer. In cooperation with Microsoft, a fix has been deployed.
This was a limited event and no servers or data were compromised. PowerDNN is closely monitoring the systems to ensure that connectivity remains stable. We appreciate your patience. PowerDNN will provide additional details as they are available.
