Webmail Shows Plesk Default Page
IssueWhen you go to your website's webmail address, you receive a "Plesk Default Page".
Cause
This may occur because of any of the following reasons:
- No webmail is selected for the domain.
- The webmail is selected, but the bindings didn't get set correctly in IIS.
- There was an upgrade to the webmail/mail software.
Resolution
In Plesk 9.5
- Log into your Control Panel.
- Click on the Home tab. Click on Domains. Select the domain you want to manage.
- Click on Mail Accounts. Then click Mail Settings.
- In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
- Select Mail Settings again.
- In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.
In Plesk 11
- Log into your Control Panel.
- Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
- Click on the Mail tab. Then click Change Settings.
- In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
- Select Mail Settings again.
- In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
In Plesk 12
- Log into your Control Panel.
- Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
- Click on the Mail tab. Then click Mail Settings.
- Click on the domain for which you want to manage.
- In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
- Select Mail Settings again.
- Click on the domain for which you want to manage again.
- In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.
In Plesk 12.5
- Log into your Control Panel.
- Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
- Click on the Mail tab. Then click Mail Settings.
- Click on the domain for which you want to manage.
- Uncheck the box marked Enable mailing lists and click Apply.
- If you clicked OK. Then select Mail Settings again.
- Check the box marked Enable mailing lists and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.
