Webmail Shows Plesk Default Page

IssueWhen you go to your website's webmail address, you receive a "Plesk Default Page".

Cause
This may occur because of any of the following reasons:
  • No webmail is selected for the domain.
  • The webmail is selected, but the bindings didn't get set correctly in IIS.
  • There was an upgrade to the webmail/mail software.
Resolution
In Plesk 9.5
  1. Log into your Control Panel.
  2. Click on the Home tab. Click on Domains. Select the domain you want to manage.
  3. Click on Mail Accounts.  Then click Mail Settings.
  4. In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
  5. Select Mail Settings again.
  6. In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.

In Plesk 11
  1. Log into your Control Panel.
  2. Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
  3. Click on the Mail tab.  Then click Change Settings.
  4. In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
  5. Select Mail Settings again.
  6. In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
In Plesk 12
  1. Log into your Control Panel.
  2. Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
  3. Click on the Mail tab.  Then click Mail Settings.
  4. Click on the domain for which you want to manage.
  5. In the Webmail drop down select None and click OK.
  6. Select Mail Settings again.
  7. Click on the domain for which you want to manage again.
  8. In the Webmail drop down select SmarterMail and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.
 
In Plesk 12.5
  1. Log into your Control Panel.
  2. Click on the Home tab. In the My Subscriptions section select the domain you want to manage.
  3. Click on the Mail tab.  Then click Mail Settings.
  4. Click on the domain for which you want to manage.
  5. Uncheck the box marked Enable mailing lists and click Apply.
  6. If you clicked OK. Then select Mail Settings again.
  7. Check the box marked Enable mailing lists and click OK.
Webmail should now be enabled.
