Adding Domain Aliases (IIS Host Headers) Through the Control Panel
Domain aliases allow multiple domain names to utilize the same content.  With the use of a CMS, domain alias can allow you to have multiple web sites run on the same installation of the CMS while displaying domain specific content. To add a domain alias, please follow these instructions:

Plesk 12.x:

  1. Login to your Control Panel.
  2. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  3. Click on [your domain name].
  4. Click on Websites & Domains.
  5. On top of the page, click on Add New Domain Alias.
  6. Enter the Domain Alias name.
  7. Check Synchronize DNS zone with primary domain and Web service options.  Verify Redirect with the HTTP 301 code is unchecked.
  8. Click OK to save your new domain alias.
 
Plesk 11.x:
  1. Login to your Control Panel.
  2. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  3. Click on [your domain name].
  4. Click on Websites & Domains.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click on Add New Domain Alias.
  6. Enter the domain alias name.
  7. Check Synchronize DNS zone with the primary domain and Web options. 
  8. Click OK to save your new domain alias. 
Plesk 9.x:
  1. Login to your Control Panel.
  2. Go to the Home  tab.
  3. Click on Domains.
  4. Click on your domain name.
  5. Click on Domain Aliases.
  6. Click on Add Domain Alias.
  7. Enter the alias
  8. Check Synchronize DNS zone with the primary domain and Web options. 
  9. Click OK to add your alias
If you are using our name servers, the new DNS settings should take effect within 30 - 60 minutes. If you are using other name servers, contact your registrar to update your DNS records.
