How to Create a Catch-All Email
Issue
You want to create a catch-all email address. Catch-all email addresses are a "default" inbox that emails will go to if the specified email address does not exist.
For example, let's say you create the email addresses bob@mysite.com and support@mysite.com, and you set support@mysite.com as the catchall email address.
- If you send an email to support@mysite.com, support@mysite.com will receive the email.
- If you send an email to bob@mysite.com, bob@mysite.com will receive the email.
- If you send an email to test@mysite.com, support@mysite.com will receive the email because support@mysite.com is the catch-all email address.
Notes
It is not possible to make a catch-all email address receive an email that is destined for an existing email account.
Warning: Using catch-all email addresses will greatly increase the amount of spam you receive.
