How to Create SRV Records in the Shared Hosting Environment
SRV records are used to specify the location of a service. Because they are a special type of record, they must be created slightly differently since the record is not synchronized into our primary name servers. Follow the steps below to create SRV records in your Control Panel.
Please note when entering the SRV records Plesk may automatically add underscores. Try entering the records without underscores first to test this. Example: If your record is _sipfederationtls._tcp.mydomain.com, try entering it as sipfederationtls.tcp.mydomain.com first.
When checking to see if the SRV records have propagated, you need to check the record itself and not the domain. Example: At MXToolbox.com you would do an SRV lookup for
_sipfederationtls._tcp.mydomain.com.
