How to Whitelist an IP Address in SmarterMail

Plesk Servers > Email
  1. Log into SmarterMail as the SmarterMail admin
  2. Click on Security in the left hand column (The shield icon)
  3. Click on Whitelist
  4. Click New to create a new entry
  5. Enter the IP Address or the IP Range you wish to block
  6. Select the services you wish to block that IP for
  7. Enter a description, if you wish
  8. Click Save
Whitelisting an IP address will mark the IP address or IP range as "trusted", and it will not be subject to any configured abuse detection rules, or relay settings. Be careful when adding an IP address to the whitelist, as it will allow your server to function as a relay for that IP.
