After Adding a Domain Alias in Plesk 12 the Alias Redirects to the Original Domain instead of a Portal

You add a domain alias to your website intending it to add the host headers in IIS to a DNN portal in your installation. Instead, when you visit the alias, you are re-directed to the original domain.
Plesk 12 has a Redirect with the HTTP 301 code check box enabled by default.
  1. Log into your Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click on Subscriptions
  3. For the domain that has the associated alias click Manage (or Open) in Control Panel.
  4. For the alias in question uncheck the Redirect with the HTTP 301 code check box.

    Remove Redirect Check
  5. Alternately, when creating the alias initially, remove the check from the box.

Plesk 12 Redirect with 301 code
