How to Enable Scripting Languages in Plesk
 
ASP.NET, PHP, CGI, Perl, and Python can be enabled on a per domain/subscription basis. By only enabling the languages you need, you avoid opening up your website to potential vulnerabilities. 
 
 
 
Plesk 12.5
  1. Log into your Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click the Domains tab.
  3. Click the domain on which you want to enable a scripting language.
  4. Click Hosting Settings.
  5. Under Web Scripting and Statistics check the appropriate setting based on your needs.

    ASP.NET versions
    The PHP support drop down offers CGI, FastCGI and ISAPI extensions as options.
     
  6. Click OK to apply the setting.

  2. Click the Domains tab.
  3. Click the domain on which you want to enable a scripting language.
  4. Click the Websites & Domains tab.
  5. Expand Show More under the domain name.
  6. Click Hosting Settings.
  7. Under Web Scripting and Statistics check the appropriate setting based on your needs.

  8. Click OK to apply the setting.

  1. Log into your Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click Domains
  3. Click the domain on which you want to enable a scripting language.
  4. Click the Websites & Domains tab.
  5. Expand Show Advanced Operations.
  6. Click Website Scripting and Security.

  7. Under Web Scripting and Statistics check the appropriate setting based on your needs.

    ASP.NET versions

    Plesk only displays major releases of ASP.NET. Although ASP.NET v 4.5 is installed on the server and applied to your site if you check the box, only 4.0 is displayed.

  8. Click OK to apply the setting.

  1. Log into your Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click Domains.
  3. Select the domain upon which you want to enable an additional scripting language.
  4. Click Web Hosting Settings.

  5. Under Services, check the appropriate setting.
