How to Restore a MySQL Database from .sql Backup

If your site is running on Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress, it probably uses a MySQL database. This guide explains how to restore one from a script file.

1. Open your domain in your control panel.
2. Click on the Websites & Domains tab.
   
    
3. Click on Databases > [your database].
   
    
4. Click on the Webadmin icon.
   
    
5. Click on Import to import your data into your new database. You may have to delete and recreate the database first if it is not empty.
   
   
6. Click on the Choose File button to locate and select your database backup. Click on Go.
